I have looked at a specific hour in the month where I have reserved instances for m1.medium.rhel in ap-southeast-2a.

20th July: ReservedInstancesHeavy: 8 BonusReservedInstancesHeavy: 0

25th July: ReservedInstancesHeavy: 7 BonusReservedInstancesHeavy: 1

I actually purchased 8 of these RI's on the 19th of July to cover this. I don't think the "bonus" tag is accurate and ICE should have continued with the 8 x ReservedInstancesHeavy.

I think this might have something to do with the purchasing of the RIs on the 19th of July. Perhaps for month's where the number of RIs change through the month, ICE is misreading the number of RIs that actually exist.

I will clear all data and crunch it again to see if this makes a difference.
