tring to add Xiaomi light sensor resulted in this error: No compatibile Homey App has been found for this device It has been added as Basic Zigbee device B230411F-5692-4B94-959E-7FE249F22AC4

Homey v4.2.0 Aqara & Xiaomi ZigBee v0.8.0

Hi Have the exakt same issue. Same device. Same fw versions. Anyone find a solution? // anders

I have the same problem with 4 light sensors, but also a Motion Sensor (without lx). I had this on V4.2 and now also on V5.0 with the new V1.2.3 version of the Aqara app.

@TedTolboom is this a known problem that you're already working on? Can we do anything to help you identify / solve the problem?

For the people just updated to Homey v5; please install the Aqara app once more from the App Store (updating the apps might take a while): https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/com.xiaomi-mi/Aqara-&-Xiaomi-ZigBee/test/

When the device is added as a generic Zigbee device, please share

  1. the steps taken (which option did you use to include) 2. what are the product and manufacturer ID’s shown app > generic Zigbee device > advanced settings)
  2. Share the Athom diagnostic report code (app > settings > General > send diagnostics code) if possible directly after trying to include the light sensor

Why 3.? The inclusion of Zigbee devices is handled by Homey’s core and not the Aqara app. Only when the core finds the right match (based on the ID’s), the corresponding app will be involved.

So if I have added the right ID’s, Athom will need to further investigate this issue..

I can't explain why, but this morning my devices are working again and I have even been able to add the light sensors, which I couldn't for weeks using v4.2. Works great again @TedTolboom! Thanks for the nice app 👍

i cannot add any new xiaomi device (try temperature, flood sensor and double relay switch) after updating to ver. homey 5.0 and app 1.2.3 experimental. Old devices work properly.

@haragiro I would suggest to do Zigbee network reset - I was facing the same and since reset it's all OKay.
