Smoke sensor battery status
Hi Ted,
is this normal please?
Diag. : ee4306c7-b8c3-4473-863b-aa9c0d779078
Btw, battery is reported on 100% It happened already twice..
Btw, all my five sensor are reporting 100% battery state... some of them have original battery for 1 year. Is battery status really working?
At least not working properly. I have the same issues as in other sensors.

I had just to take out the battery, as the smoke sensor starts beeping (1:30AM :-) ). The removed battery reported 100% capacity with 3.012 V, the new battery has 3.3013V, so it's a shame it's indeed not working. Hopefully there is a way to fix it @TedTolboom ?

Appologies for waking you at night...
I do see where the issues is residing... I use the CR2032 battery levels also for the smoke sensor... ie. max @ 3.0V and min at 2.5V, with alarm setpoint at 2.6V, based on the battery voltage curve of a CR2032. Which is off course not representative for the battery in the smoke sensor.
Anyone has a good source for the battery voltage curves?

That was not your problem, it was my problem not to check battery myself :-) It was like ..."Hmmm, what is beeping here?...never-mind". ...because it did beep already when I opened this ticket ;-)
As for the battery in Smoke sensor, it's CR123A - would this help ? https://panda-bg.com/datasheet/1617-360405-Lithium-Cylindrical-Battery-GP-CR123A.pdf
And btw, one additional aspect, the Smoke sensor is in my case located in the attic, the temperature was there around 4 C and will drop even to more in coming months.... yet it did always report in Homey 100% till the sensor itself recognized the battery is on low voltage. But when I measured it with voltage meter, it was already for 10min in warmer environment (so the minimum could be indeed below 3,012 V that I measured)
And another one - https://www.varta-microbattery.com/fileadmin/varta_microbattery//mb_data/documents/data_sheets/DS6205.pdf
Today 5AM I got wake up from sensor reporting alarm - however it was even beeping, which I assume it's based on "internal logic", so Alarm trigger flow was successfully initiated :-).
Reported density was 1st at 5kg/m3 then 66 kg/m3 and aprx 5min later on 0. What was strange, I haven't had any issues with those sensors for past 1 year - I'm thinking maybe again battery dying? Or maybe even the sensor is dying...in any way, there was not aparrent sign of any smoke or steam at all. I have another 3 pieces of this sensor which works fine however, except of they are all on 100% battery, which as we discussed is not alright.
Ambient temperature was about 2C with 86 % humidity...
Not sure if this will help: 0965d677-3ae5-4d74-bcbd-6bb8e3e552ad
So just in case it would be useful for some investigation....
Thank you Ted.
Today I got again battery alarm warning from the sensor (beeping), while Homey was showing 100%, old removed battery was again on around 3V voltage (3.012 V).
Today i got same alarm to. May be diagnostic will help you. 6daa7b4b-c2c7-4ad1-adc7-b1e39383a5f4 647E2E
