[Feature] Xiaomi Curtain controller - reverse status of the curtain
This is more a request than an issue. I believe I also requested it on the old community forum.
I have 3 curtain controllers (lumi.curtain | Apparaat ID 514 | Profiel ID 260) working nicely. What is a bit annoying is, that one of these report 'the other way around'. Open is seen als closed and closed as open. Even after a reset and re-inclusion this remains. Here's a screenshot of 3 open curtains:

Later I came to the conclusion that this is 'normal' behaviour; two rails have the motor on the left hand side, the other one has the motor on the righthand side!
If possible, it would be nice to be able to toggle/reverse the representation.
it is possible to add this setting; I even know how... but I need the zigbee rewrite to add it (manufacturer ID that needs to be send along with the attribute)...
Regarding updating the app, I will first focus on getting the app operational in v5 (zigbee rewrite) first and then will add new devices / features
Aha! Great to read. And, sure 'first things first'!
Thanks for the quick reply Ted and success with the forthcoming zigbee rewrite!
Hi @TedTolboom
I noticed this topic, I 'trying' to write an app for a Tuya curtain switch for Homey. Is it possible with the old SDK 2 of homey to send the manufacturer ID along with the attribute? (mfgcode) And how to do this?
Following this thread as my two curtains are both reporting reverse status
I have 5 curtain motors that behave strange.
- some motors are on the right and other are on the left, but they all report wrong state open is being closed and closed being open
- the external Zigbee IKEA Furtyr button that is assigned to two curtains via flow, somehow manages to control all of them Looks like they gain same id in homey
Hi, please update the curtains with reveres option. it is really annoying as they are reversed :(
Have been resolved for the Aqara B1 curtain controller in v1.2.3; available in the app store test environment: https://homey.app/a/com.xiaomi-mi/test/
At this moment, I can't resolve it yet for the Xiaomi curtain controller, due to an exotic attribute being used... will require some more time
Any updates on the curtain motor?
The reverse setting and the issue that onexeht experiences; any IKEA remote paired with Homey interacts with the Aqara/Xiaomi curtain motor.
