'Open Login-Page in Browser' does nothing on Linux

System Info

OS: Pop!OS 22.04
Minecraft 1.12.2
ReAuth: 4.0.3
Forge: 14.23.5.2860

Reproduction Steps

From the main menu, click 'Multiplayer'
open the ReAuth menu
Use the button for 'authenticate with this device'
Press the 'Open Login-Page in Browser' button

Expected Result

The page opens in my default browser app.

Actual Result

No new tabs or windows are opened.

On further inspection, since the Vanilla Minecraft OpenWebLink method is being called, I suspect this is actually a Minecraft bug. It might be helpful to open the 'unsafe link' screen instead, so that people have the option to 'copy to clipboard'?
