Reauth not authorizing my account

everytime it tries to authorize my account it goes thru all the other steps then it gets to mojang it says unable to reach authentication servers check your connection and try again, ive uninstalled and reinstalled the mod pack like 3 times and have been trying off and on for like 3 weeks.

check you have no background applications running in control panel.
