Support for PUID and PGID

Open jpdsc opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Dear Teamspeak,

I changed my Teamspeak server on Linux from standalone to Docker. However, I see you do not support PUID and PGID to ensure the mapped volumes are with the correct permissions. Currently, they are being created by PUID 9987. Can this be added so we are able to choose the PUID and PGID? I have tried adding

user: 1000:1000 however, this causes permissions issues inside the container when creating files in /var/ts3server/

Also, when SSH into the mapped volume: - '/volume1/docker/Teamspeak-server:/var/ts3server/:rw' it is not possible to view /files and /logs due to only read permissions for user 9987... Example below

I could just chmod the folders. But when a new channel folder is created; this needs to be chmod each time...

Any solution for this?
