Describe the bug

There is a "audio only" mode to choose when playing a video. However, it doesn't work when I'm using Safari on iOS. After I clicked the button, the video reloaded, but didn't switch to the "audio only" mode.

Just like the video above, I also get this bug on Safari iOS 15.4.1. I'm not sure if for earlier versions of safari/iOS if audio mode worked before or not.

I too have this problem since the website's URL changed from invidious to piped I guess. A few weeks ago it worked. I use iOS 15.6.1

Can confirm this issue is still present with iOS 17.3.1 and also happens on the Firefox iOS app (so is a general webkit issue).

Saving data on mobile devices is IMO one of the biggest use cases for audio only mode, so fixing this would be really helpful.
