[Feature Request] Persistent Settings for Piped

Would it be possible to set persistent settings for Piped, for those who have cookies set to clear on browser close?

Firefox workaround

As a workaround you can add an exception to do not delete the cookie from a specific site, like https://piped.kavin.rocks/

in Firefox Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies and Site Data

• enable: Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed
• under Manage Exception: add https://piped.kavin.rocks/ with status Allow

then on Privacy & Security you have to disable cookie deletion under History -> Clear history when Firefox closes -> Manage

cookie will still be deleted except the sites you choose, just add them wisely (ok piped, not good for google.com)

@lucamp Thanks, I can't believe I had forgotten something this simple. I guess I'll start doing thus.

Update: Not only Cookies need to be unchecked for them to be kept, but also Offline website data, for some reason.
