What about this layout instead? Include playback progress under each played file. It could be under media thumbnail too, but thumbnail needs to be bigger.
Or a tick in a grey circle on the thumbnail to indicate it is enqueued.
SameenAhnaf i believe you got it wrong it doesn't have anything to do with playback progress I was asking for some sort of marking in what's new feed to suggest that a particular video is currently enqueued or not which would enable user to identify which videos will be played as per the queue/playlist which in turn prevent user from adding the user from adding a duplicate entry in the current queue.
There is already a issue with someone asking for warning before adding duplicate entry in the current queue but it will still be more time consuming as the user will have to confirm or deny the confirmation.
This feature request will act as a preamptive barrier to prevent user from adding unwanted duplicates without the hassle of a confirmation dialog box due to ignorance, confusion or poor memory of the user as even i sometimes have to go to queue to look whether the video i'm about to enqueue is already in current queue or not.
Regarding opusforlife2's suggestions I believe it's fine as long as it serves the purpose and is visible enough for user to notice.
@opusforlife2 @SameenAhnaf Can someone please add a feed label here instead of queue label?
@SameenAhnaf I opened a new issue regarding your suggestions please update your comment in #5640
Or maybe add a grey text which reads "enqueued" on thumbnail of video
