Steps to reproduce the bug

1. play any video in picture in picture mode
2. attempt to login into any site with bitwarden auto-fill
3. get stuck after input bitwarden password on 'matching site' screen and cannot progress further (this problem doesn't occurs when using other app picture in picture such as firefox android, chrome android or vlc android)

Expected behavior

be able to use password manager normally during newpipe playing picture in picture mode

get stuck on 'matching site' screen of bitwarden

Likely caused by our custom PiP. @AudricV would know more.

I have the same issue and it still exists in the latest version.

I'm pretty sure this is not a problem. It is a security feature used by such apps (also Play Store uses it to some extent) to mitigate tapjacking, or something like that (I'm not a dev). I think I've seen an option to disable it in some apps, but I can't remember for sure. Android native PiP doesn't cause this. Anyway, I'm rather certain there's nothing to fix here, certainly not in NewPipe.
