Playlist doesn't function properly

Steps to reproduce the bug
Go to bookmarked playlists, select playlist, select play all, select hamburger menu that should display all videos in the playlist
Expected behavior
I expect that hamburger menu to display all of the videos in that playlist. I expect it to play every video in that playlist
Actual behavior
Once I hit play all, I can skip through the videos manually because the list function doesn't work, but if I turn off the screen, it only plays one video and then quits. I would expect to be able to select any video from the play all hamburger menu and then have it play through the playlist even if the screen is off. The only work around I have been able to find is to use external video player which only works when I have the screen off but if I want to watch something, external players more of a pain. The other work around that is unique to me, is if I open new pipe through the front screen on my Samsung flip using cover screen operating system APK (CSOS) then I can access the full playlist from the hamburger menu. Using this, it still won't play the full playlist but I can at least see it

Instead of playing ep 25 in the playlist, the app played this unrelated video I have no history of watching or knowing of. I've never searched for this video or person. See screenshot of view history
same thing here. "play all" plays the first video in the playlist and then completely unrelated random videos
disabling settings > video and audio > auto-enqueue next stream seems to solve the problem. but is it supposed to?
We know. Did you read the release notes?
I know people were trying to fix the issue of nothing playing, which was successful. I'm just keeping this thread updated to show this issue wasn't accidentally resolved.
I see. A better way to do that would be to edit the OP and update the "Affected version" there.

I have a related playlist issue.
"Play all" correctly plays video after video in a playlist. Skipping videos by pressing forward/backward works fine. Issue arises if I go back to playlist and click on some video that I want to play. Then after that song, a random song outside of playlist starts playing. Disabling auto-enqueue next stream does not solve anything. It simply stops playing the next video on the playlist.
Also, the possibility of rearranging videos in the playlist by dragging them up or down does nothing. I mean you can move them and visually it looks like you have changed the order but the videos still play in their original order on the playlist. Only when you load the playlist again will the videos play in the newly set order.
Ok so after 2 years of this issue not working, I'm moving to Vanced. I really hope you guys get this issue resolved because I prefer the minimalist design of New Pipe. However, I use playlists every day and it's gotten too frustrating to have to use my tiny front screen to play them.
