SELECT multiple "mark as read"

- [x] This issue contains only one feature request. I will open one issue for every feature I want to request.
What feature do you want?
Hi, the "mark as read" feature is great to remove video that we don't want to see in combination with the "hide" feature. The problem is that we have to select each video individually or for the news topic, they are a lot of content that are similar. It would be great if we could select multiple video all at once and use the "mark as read" feature.
Why do you want this feature?
- Better ergonomie and time.
I'd like to second this request. My main annoyance is that NewPipe will keep giving notifications of video's that I have watched on another device. Sometimes video's that are multiple months old.
This problem is particularly annoying when subscribing to a new channel, having an empty "what's new" category. You will now have tens and tens of videos in there, but (i) they aren't really new, (ii) maybe you don't want to watch twenty videos from the same channel. If you want to binge watch it, you can go the cannel's page
As a new user of Newpipe I thought the app was buggy since I received notifications for videos that are older than the installation date of Newpipe on my device. Moreover there's no multiple selections to mark as watched so it's not handy and intuitive. Hope this request will be handled. Thank you.
@SameenAhnaf @opusforlife2 i believe this can be closed in favour of #8584
@Master2050 This repo currently follows "one FR per issue" rule. However, both issues will be kept open. Because, some options like Show Channel Details is required to be hidden. So, overall UI design needs to be planned.
The last comment is just over a year old and the issue is still open. Is there any planned/expected time of implementation? I think this would be a really useful feature, especially for new users.
Why I'm asking: I've just installed the app and after importing my subscriptions from YouTube (47 channels), my "What's New" feed has literally a couple hundred videos. It's great that I can hide watched videos from the feed, but having to mark them one by one is quite tedious.
Thank you!
