Werewolf mod Config option not working

This option, "werewolf_claw_damage" for minecraft 1.18.2, latest werewolf mod version ([Werewolves-1.18.2-1.8-0.6.1]), doesn't change anything gameplay wise, the base dmg option works and increases all dmg acordingly, but the claw damage option doesn't work. The "unarmed/claw" damage in the werewolf forms, except the one who increases base dmg wich only increases by the specified amount everything, is the same as untransformed.

Yes, it is currently not used due to removed skills

So, any chance to bring that back? I think it's thematicaly appropieta the werewolfs to not depend on using weapons por melee... At least not wooden/stone for the dmg at high levels.
