ascii symbol causes nullpointer exception

Hello! when in the list of array comes a string's, in one line which is the symbol ASCII 1D (GS or chr(29)), the system responces Nullpointer Exception. But we has fixing this problem with prepared filter for this string, but i see that is a crooked nail =)
