Playing audio files in Namida

Open Sergey842248 opened this issue 7 months ago • 1 comments

Describe the bug If I try to open an audio file with the app Namida (also open source) I get a warning "Couldn't play file (Empty List)" and the file doesn't play. But with almost every other file manager (like fossify file manager) it works well.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install Namida
  2. Open any audio file in amaze
  3. Select Namida as Player
  4. See error

Expected behavior It should play the file.

Screenshots If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Galaxy S24
  • OS: OneUI 7 (Android 15)
  • Rooted: No
  • Version: 3.10

Additional context I guess it doesn't share the audio file information to external apps.

Marking as high because it probably also affects other apps too.
