File not deleted from "Documents" directory, ends up duplicated in Trash

Open ajay020 opened this issue 8 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug When deleting a file from the Documents directory, it doesn’t actually get removed. A toast appears saying "Deleting" and then "Done", but the file remains in the original location. At the same time, it also gets added to the Trash bin. If you try to delete it again, it gets added to the Trash again, creating duplicate entries.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Go to the 'Hamburger' icon
  2. Click on 'Documents'
  3. Try to delete a file
  4. Refresh the screen, notice the file, it doesn't get deleted
  5. Now go to the Trash bin
  6. You will find the file here
  7. Try to delete the same file again, and it will be added to the trash bin AGAIN

Expected behavior

  • The file should be removed from the Documents directory.
  • It should only appear once in the Trash.
