Two workspaces?

In v3.10 there seems to be two workspaces. I find this highly annoying, since I accidetally tend to switch to the second workspace, by side sweeping, when scrolling through my directories. Is there a way to disable this feature, or is it missing due to a bug?

there's no way to disable workspaces as of now. accidental switching of workspaces was never an issue, are you using a tablet or something?
