Adaptive icon

Api 26 introduced adaptive icons where background and foreground are two different images. https://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_design_adaptive.html

Any chance that we can get this done for 3.6?

There is a windows installer like creator for this in Android Studio. New > Image > something

The app icon may need a new design of combination of a background (colour) and a foreground (image), from what I can see in Android Studio.

May also take advantage to go vector.
