Some ability to filter tags displayed on a post

Open Vidyut opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

As an unfortunate side effect of the plugin automatically mass tagging posts, many posts now have dozens of tags, many of them irrelevant (water, world, US, abuse, police, feelings, WHO..... - every time the word is used in a post doesn't mean the post is about it. For example "WHO is responsible?" Is really not about World Health Organization...). Retagging and sorting the mess is going to take ages (if ever possible with the time I have) and things like displaying "n" number of tags doesn't work because.... the auto tagging has added some tags to everything, so the tags displayed can be completely irrelevant and the relevant ones don't show up. Untagging doesn't work either, though I see the issue has been marked fixed now, so hopefully with next update, some untagging may be possible.

But my original well crafted tags should still be possible to identify because the important tags had descriptions, custom fields filled in fully, etc, which the less important ones did not. If there were a way to display tags under posts if they have a description. Or if a custom field is not empty, etc - will mitigate a lot of the damage.

This could be a new screen in the plugin with some filters at the top
