Feature request: making multirom do a clean shutdown
Hi!
Can you please make some changes in the way multirom binary reboots the device? I'm requesting for the shutdown part. Currently, it appears that multirom does an unclean shutdown which I find uncomfortable to do.
As of now, this is what I do (through an alias or shortcut) to reboot the device with a clean shutdown:
- make relevant changes into current_rom and auto_boot_type lines in multirom.ini
- send the intent
android.intent.action.REBOOT
as root user.
IMO, it is akin to using MultiROM Manager app to boot into a ROM with added difference of a clean shutdown.
I can understand that this may pose a problem in shutdown or reboot when multirom shows boot menu since no intent would work there, but I suppose both shutdown/reboot methods can be added and based on the environment, the most appropriate one can be used by multirom binary.
