Feature request: Ability to install Ubuntu Touch using system-image-upgrader on a USB OTG drive

Ubuntu touch uses much more disk space than Android. For this reason it should be possible to put it on a separate USB drive. Debugging will obviously be a little harder as adb over USB is not physically possible, but an option could be added during installation to enable ssh over wifi and protect it with a password.
