Prompt not set up correctly

The prompt looks like this - when I'm using your dotfiles: $vcs_info_msg_0_prompt_pure_git_dirty $prompt_pure_username prompt_pure_cmd_exec_time

History substring search does not work even though it is sourced.

Where do I find the prompt?

Wait is this two separate issues? My personal dotfiles uses this fork of "pure" which is the name of the zsh theme I'm using.
