Does not run properly off of local network drive

Open Fighterbuilder opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

I use a LAN network drive at my house so that I can access files on any computer connected to the home WiFi. However, upon attempting to run Net64 off of it, following all directions in the guide video, it works until I press Start on the title screen, at which point, the game freezes on a white screen with the file select music playing in the background. Net64 crashes after a short while afterwards. This isn't a huge issue, as simply moving it to my PC's hard drive worked just fine with no problems whatsoever, but I'd like to be able to run it off the network drive if at all possible.

Net64+ stores its files in %APPDATA%/net64plus/ If you connect via network drive, does it still use the settings you just saved? Do you also start the emulator via network drive? Does it still have 16MB and counter factor 1 settings, if started from network drive?

Everything was running off the network drive; settings saved properly too.
