Masonry Layout ignored

Currently when a gallery-card is place in a view and the view is set to use masonry type or masonry (layout-card), the masonry arrange is completely ignored and the rest of the cards simply line vertically (one under the other one). Anybody else experiencing this issue and how to prevent it ?
