nav.push not working when app is inactive and locked in ios

Hi, i am facing issues with the nav.push in ios when the app is inactive and the screen is locked i recieve a voip notification which in turn wakes up my app and the piece of javascript runs but as soon as i accept the call through the callkit nav.push never gets executed.
