Changes with Dawn of the Dukes and other minor changes

Open LOSER4ever opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

I am providing a better description for armor class names and resource names, and also providing which are not used in the game (either never were or have been discontinued). The resource values after 210 are also updated as per the latest expansions (the Last Khans, Lords of the West and Dawn of the Dukes).

Most of these changes are not really needed, although clarifications may be useful in some cases. Some things that you think are unused are functional parts of a game or possible with a data mod. Feel free to edit the lists that are generated from these to make your editor display them in the way you want. The new default file name is AGE3NamesV0005.ini and will be populated as you open different versions of the game.

I shall create a better list with the upcoming DLC. Thanks for reply. From: Mikko PSent: 03 February 2022 01:00 PMTo: Tapsa/AGECc: Saurav Tripathi; AuthorSubject: Re: [Tapsa/AGE] Changes with Dawn of the Dukes and other minor changes (#10) Most of these changes are not really needed, although clarifications may be useful in some cases. @Tapsa You turned off issues so I will use this to contact you. This has been removed from scoop games. It will not be added back to scoop-games until you provide your releases on github using the built in release feature or provide a way for scoop to automatic update and download the file without google drive or other means of manual intervention.

I hope you understand the reasoning. Scoop wasn't able to auto-update this without someone manually uploading the file due to the way the releases are currently hosted. This led to the scoop release being over a year outdated, it's also not ideal needing to rehost the file.

Github releases would be the best for ease of use and for users. But we understand if you want to keep it old school with that php site, but it can't be on the scoop games repo without a way to auto grab the new dl url and download the file direct.

@beyondmeat I'm not familiar with scoop games. Someone else suggested adding this there. I've done a release here on GitHub now regardless.
