Global filter only works with string and number types

Describe the bug and the steps to reproduce it

At present, global filters are only operational if the data type in the first row is a string or a number. This differs from the behaviour of the column filter. It would be preferable to enable all types to handle them in the function, or even apply a custom global filter for each column, or use the already set column filter as already suggested in: https://github.com/TanStack/table/discussions/2649
