Seems like backend for MATIC.supply has been down for 3 days
No response to the GET request to https://backend.matic.supply:3000/rpc-mainnet/matic/XXX
By the way, really awesome project! Thank you for this!
Error persists today as well. Is it possible that the faucet has run out of MATIC?
The faucet is still giving out MATIC regularly but I haven't been able to use it. Does it work for you guys?

For those landing here looking for a way to get MATIC on your wallets, after intensive research I found out that Matic faucets got obsolete because of the new functionality inside Polygon's Wallet which allows you to convert Polygon native tokens to MATIC and vice-versa gas free.
"...The gas hike on Polygon (minimum 30gwei) has made the faucets obsolete (useless). If you need MATIC to transact, you can use official Polygon gasless swap: Click HERE (view tutorial here)"

Yes the issue still persists

Backend seems to (still) be down. Would be great if @TamtamHero can have a look 👀!

@LuwkasLima I disagree. The intention of the faucets is to get people on board with crypto and polygon in particular. If you need to swap a different token, then 1) you need more knowledge about crypto and 2) you need to already have another token.
We are currently running a test project with crypto newbies and a privately euro-pegged token (worthless to the Polygon gass-less swap). The faucets are ideal to get people onboarded and start experimenting before the buy their own matic / tokens (which needs them to register + KYC with exchanges, withdraw, etc.).
@ChristianVermeulen totally agree with your disagreement! I was just offering an option (that helped me) for those trying to get some MATIC for their projects.
This polygon faucet issue has been open for months and I haven't seen other options so far.
