I'd love a libinput-powered, smooth two-finger-touchpad-scroll. Don't worry if it would make the cover-loading-algorithm a pain, it's just something that would make the player look very pretty on laptops.

The gallery is already capable of linear scrolling, you'll notice it when you click hold above and below (or drag) the gallery scroll bar. So that would not be a problem. Its more just handling the input and implementing the algorithm. Ill try experiment with it and get back to you.
