Error in callback for watcher "state": "TypeError: Cannot read property 'filter' of undefined"

I started off with the exact problem as here, I decided to recreate the issue, which led me to the current 2 issue I can't seem to resolve.

I'm including vue-paginate within vue-nav-tabs plugin, but since vue-paginate can't be ran from inside another slot, I found out that the code was updated to work within another slot and I followed the instructions but nothing.
