Open Query From History DOES NOT WORK

Open rwhirn opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

  1. Which driver are you using and version of it (Ex: PostgreSQL 10.0): MySQL 5.7.33 but any

  2. Which TablePlus build number are you using (the number on the welcome screen, Ex: build 81): 200

  3. The steps to reproduce this issue: Open Table Plus Click on History Double Click on any query

You get a messed up query. It has the last query you worked on PLUS the query you just double clicked running together with the first line of the second query appended to the last line of the of old unwanted query.

I have reported this before and am really getting tired of it.

This feature DOES NOT WORK, right from the moment you start a fresh instance. No excuse for why "this is expected behavior".

Please fix this ASAP. Double clicking on a query in History MUST open that query in its own NEW, clean tab.

@huyphams I think this appears to be fixed, yes? New window with time as the title? This is great, thank you.

I did receive an error. When I made a change to the query and ran it. When I tried to close the tab I got the following error: image

But only after changing the query and running it. If you just run it without any changes it closes fine.

@huyphams Has there been a regression here? The "History" windows are no longer opening on their own and are back to opening appended to the end of the most recent SQL command window.

Build 210, MySQL 5.7.38
