Please release a tar.gz for Linux distros that don't use aptitude as a package manager
I got build 40 going on Gentoo by extracting the deb file and manually setting it up.

Works great.
Would be awesome if we could just get a tar.gz of the build posted as a release in this repo.
Would be double awesome if you could give us a list of dependencies. It's no problem installing them in Gentoo as long as I know what they are.
Thank you :D we will try both.
Actually let me check the dependencies and get back to you :D
@hparadiz If it helps, they do publish a list of dependencies as part of the apt packaging process.
You can see them outside of apt--
curl -s https://deb.tableplus.com/debian/dists/tableplus/main/binary-amd64/Packages
You'll see--
Depends: libgtksourceview-3.0-dev, libgee-0.8-dev, gnome-keyring
Obviously these packages may or may not be named the exact same thing on your distro. On Arch, these mapped to 'gtksourceview3' 'libgee' 'gnome-keyring'
Thanks @wastrachan that's correct :D
For what it's worth, we are also trying to statically link more of them so the distro should be much easier soon we hope
Another +1 for me, will definitely buy when there's a RPM/Flatpak option.
+1 NixOS user here. A binary would be appreciated. For now i'll attempt to extract it from the Deb
@leeola maybe you'd like to chime in here, discussing how to package the deb package for NixOS https://discourse.nixos.org/t/tableplus-deb-package/13206
