News page loading time

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click Hamburger menu on the upper left
  2. News category

Problem

When I click this news category, it only shows this loading page.

And the error log says,

2022-07-24 11:16:22.029 11805-11805/de.tum.in.tumcampus E/RecyclerView: No adapter attached; skipping layout

Figuring out the reason of this loading and fix correctly

It turned out to be the value "news" got from Db to be null. Does anyone know this reason?

val news = newsController.getAllFromDb(requireContext())
