Feature Request: Entity List improvements

This window is always on top modal in 1.4/1.6 and you cannot actually go back to the main window to do anything while it is open.

1.5 has some ability to multi-select entities within categories via shift and/or ctrl and select all of those when you push to select.

Could also be nice to select from the root object (classnames) to select all of the child of that type. I don't think 1.5 allows this.
