Surface Inspector and Texture browser issues

Open cityy opened this issue 13 years ago • 1 comments

In GTKradiant 1.5 it is possible to toggle the surface inspector and the texture browser by pressing s/t. Pressing s in 1.6 will bring up the surface inspector but pressing s another time wont hide it again. That's a small feature I'd love to see being added as it saves you a lot of clicks.

Edit: Additionally, it should be possible to bring up the surface inspector when having the texture browser in focus and vice versa. Also, texture shift and rotation shortcuts don't work when the surface inspector/texture browser are in focus.

Edit2: Sometimes, when I have a surface selected and then press s to bring up the surface inspector; all texture shifts and scales are being reset to default and the selection jumps from the surface to the whole brush.

I think a lot of this is due to me pressing s repeatedly wondering why the surface inspector wont show up/minimize.

It isn't possible to hide the surface inspector with the shortcut s because there is a text field which will catch the key press. Just press ESC. For the reset see https://github.com/TTimo/GtkRadiant/issues/577
