is this mod all rights reserved like it says (by default) on curseforge or not? would setting / adding a license be a bother so good people can fork / port a opensource mod ?

Because a licence wasn't specified, the code is allowed to be forked on Github. I assume this means someone could fork the code and update it themselves.
