[Bug?] Setting default field state to "markdown" changes the focussed field when adding cards

To reproduce:

  • Set "Default field state": "markdown",
  • Restart Anki
  • Click "Add"

The curser is focussed on the last field of the note type, rather than the first which is the normal Anki behaviour.

Tested in Windows 10 with Anki v2.1.66

Happens to me too, on Windows 11 with Anki v2.1.65

I love this addon but this bug is driving me crazy.

Does anyone have suggestions on a temporary fix that I can apply, even a hacky one?

macOS 14.2.1
