Hi! Thanks for your feedback. It seems unnormal. Did you use other extensions at the same time? Maybe it's an incompatibility problem (e.g., CodeGeeX doesn't work so well with Prettier).

Do you have any more recommendations what extensions could make the AI run slowly?

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. Could you please specify the following points:

  1. The version of your CodeGeeX extension. (the newest is v1.0.7)
  2. Does CodeGeeX respond slowly (this might be due to network issues) or does it make the editor input slowly?
  3. After disabling other extensions, did you try to reload VS Code? Does this help?

Before showing a hint, you have to wait two or more seconds, I will write with my hands faster than I will wait. While it may be supposed to work this way, I like this extension it's a great replacement for github copilot

  1. The version 1.0.7
  2. I have 500Mbps Ethernet speed
  3. Yes, I reloaded the editor

Thanks! Normally, it takes no more than a second to complete a line, while longer for a function-level generation (but it depends on the current location). We're working on accelerating the model. I'll let you know when a faster version comes out.
