Self-Registration
@dennis95stumm wanted to create a new issue in https://github.com/THM-Health/PILOS/issues/71#issuecomment-765225716_ regarding self-registration. Unfortunately, I did not find it :)
For us (not an university, but a smaller educational organisation), it would also be nice to have a self-registration (and email validation, and accept/decline by admin).
I'll keep this in mind, just not top-priority. However you are welcome to submit a PR. If you have any questions on how this could be implemented, feel free to contact me.
@debuglevel If we add OpenID-Connect and SAML 2.0 integration, would this meet your requirements, as registration, etc. could be achieved with keycloak (or other IDPs) ?
Would be an interesting option, although we have no IDP running. But I think that would do it. (But for now, we'll stay with Greenlight 2/3. But if PILOS would implement OpenID, we could evaluate PILOS. But no idea if we would really migrate as this would be a decision to make by the CIO.)
