Suggestion: Prefix auto open toggle

Minecraft Version 1.12.2 (All versions ideally) What is the suggestion Ability to toggle command line open on prefix press (So you can turn off the ability for the prefix to auto open chat and type the prefix). Why it will be useful Changing the prefix to; !,@,#,$,...etc. prevents the user from changing slot using numbers, when crouching. Having the option to turn off auto command line open will resolve this problem.
