docx2tei footnote with list bug
If a footnote (or endnote) in a docx has a list in it, it is not converted to note/list but wrongly to note/p+.
The culprit is in Stylesheets/docx/from/marginals.xsl, the w:endnoteReference template which does not seem to do anything for lists.
I tried using the listSection named template in the w:endnoteReference template but it immediatelly falls into endless recursion. So, after an hour of digging around, I'm stumped how to fix this.
Ping for Magdalena to look at this. Council subgroup thinks this sounds like something that ought to be fixed.
@ebeshero and I have added high priority because this has been sitting unfixed for two years.
If @tuurma does not want this, feel free to assign me. I will be doing some work on docxtotei as part of a grant later this year.
@TomazErjavec a workaround might be to use TEI Publisher's DOCX conversion based on the TEI Processing Model, attaching the results below
