Sprite Tearing/Flicker - Save State Included
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Stand by the left Statue in the Room.
2. Look towards the wall and charge the sword.
3. While charging and holding the sword towards left, go up and down.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What should happen is, everything look the same, and the sword is just glowing
from the charge.
What happens instead is, that at certain places when going up and down while
charging, the left statue will loose it´s left/top left.
(You can get similar effect while throwing bombs, and when they explode it will
flicker away certain parts of the statues.)
Note: It´s not limited to just that part in only this game, but it´s very
easy to reproduce there.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using the latest version you currently have svn480.
This problem also occurs on VBA-M, and probably other versions.
Please provide any additional information below.
The game is:
The Legend of Zelda - Link´s Awakening (Version 1.2).
I provided a save state where you can reproduce the problem.
