mGBA Super Mario Advance 4 on the standalone mGBA rumbles

To activate just hit l or r in begining to access options turn on.

In bizhawk even with rumble setting set to true under sync options this title doesnt detect rumble present

To be clear: is rumble working in other GBA titles? In 2.10 you would have to bind it to a gamepad as well, that's not set up out-of-the-box.

Super Mario Advance 4's rumble does not use cartridge rumble, it uses GB Player rumble. You have to enable GB Player Detection in sync settings to have rumble (the other rumble setting will have no effect).

Doing so in 2.10 and the latest master seems to have the in-game rumble setting not appear however, the GB Player detection might just be broken in BizHawk here...

Only mentioned as is works in standalone mGBA but not here.

The fact that it doesnt show as an option in the actual game tells me gameboy player mode isnt activating even when setting it. Just a guess
