New parameters to ignore VHDX smaller than a specific size or last modified x number of days ago

Open LBXComputers opened this issue 4 years ago • 0 comments

We are scheduling this script to run at weekends when fewer users are likely to be logged on.

Some UPDs are already as small as they possibly can because they were already compacted the previous weekend but have not been used since they were compacted i.e. a user has not logged on for over a week. Please can you include a new parameter to tell the script to ignore UPDs which have not been modified recently x number of days for example.

Similarly, some UPDs appear to grow more than others even when in use for similar amounts of time and we only really want to compact the very large UPDs. With an option to ignore UPDs smaller than X GB, we could schedule the script to run more often concentrating on only the very large UPDs.

Please could you consider this for a future enhancement?

Thanks and keep up the good work.
