Device not recognized :(
I used to use an older version of the ADB fastboot tools but lost that one and cant remember the version i think it was 4,6
But i newly downloaded about 20 versions from the latest downward and still no connection.
Some do runn but wont find the device and give the reply that i should switch the device to data transfer .
Tried it but it wont detect the phone no matter what i try .
It used to be recognized without anny problems but now nadda zero nothing .
I received an update aparently last night and i am lost on what to do here anny one that can help me out/point me in the right direction ?
MUI 12.0.1 Global stable 12.0.1.0 (QCGEUXM)
Android version 10QP1A 190711.020
Security patch 2020-07-01
Redmi Note 8 Pro Model M1906G7G
I also never managed to connect. In every version it looks like: Looking for devices ... I already activated the developer and USB debugging. Mi 9 updated.
Tried on a different computer? What about a different phone (not necessarily Xiaomi)?
I had the same Issue. I fixed it by downloading the zip Release https://github.com/Szaki/XiaomiADBFastbootTools/releases/tag/6.9.1 for my plattform(Windows) and copying the latest XiaomiADBFastbootTools.jar in the extracted folder. I was just missing the whole /bin folder with adb.exe etc.

You don't need any of that stuff in recent versions, just the JAR will work.

Thanks! Launched that old version and all started working again! A lot of time wasted on Oracle Java, OpenJVM, adb drivers.. but the only thing that was needed was not to be led by the proposal to update the program..

I keep having the same issue Currently using MUI 11, Redmi Note 4, Windows 10 64bit, JDK15 :(
@Sikorumbe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9MXicsEp58 read back in the comments download links are there for the software and you should be good to go .
Try this:
- Disconnect your device from the cable.
- Revoke all debugging authorization from the device. (Usually the next entry under USB debug switch.)
- Connect device to the cable and grant authorization again.
I've used the tools a year and half ago the last time, and was surprised that it no longer works now. Checked and rechecked the settings, drivers and ADB, but nothing helped until I re-granted the auth.
I'm having the same issue. My phone is Xiaomi Redmi 9 (4/64G with NFC running Android 10/MUI 11). I'm using Debian linux, and I I'm able to connect via ADB from a terminal without any issue. The XiaomiADBFastbootTools app starts, but it can't detect/connect to the device. I basically tried everything people recommended here to fix the issue, but without any luck. I also noted that the java
process uses lots of CPU, but it looks like nothing happens. Is this high CPU a normal thing? The java version I use is javac 11.0.9.1
. The device/bootloader is locked and without root.
