Updated to the latest version of SABnzbd 3.6.1-57 from 3.6.0-56... The update went fine but the application want to recreate the Download folder. /volume1/Downloads

You have a permission problem, not a Sabnzbd problem. Sabnzbd just tries to create the folders which are needed and if the already exists all is fine. That is just the python way. (it's better to ask forgiveness than permission).

But in this case there was a permission error so it failed and concluded that the directories it needs are not accessible and stops.

Dit you check if the "system internal user" sc-sabnzbd has read/write permissions there?
