Custom Tile Layer

Is it possible to overlay custom tiles. I currently use leaflet with my own custom tiles that overlay on the map. It would be great if I could overlay my tile layer over the google maps.

According to the documentation it looks like it's possible to do, but, I don't think I have any time to try and get this working in the near term.
