Accessing backend UI
Hello, First of all, thank you so much for this amazing tool. I was looking all over the web for a tool like this. I installed keymaster using the RPM release. I generated the config and updated it with the required info. Do I need to put it behind a webserver to access the backend UI via the web? Do you mind providing some info on getting keymaster to work?
Hello Max, I dont understand what are you asking me. I think the fastest way to do this is by going into cloud-foundations.slack.com and look the the #keymaster channel. I tend to lurk there to provide help. Once I understand I can help you and update the docs for others.
For what I think you asked here is the answer:
- Keymaster is a built-in server, using the rpm you need to: systemctl start keymaster.service and probably also "systemctl enable keymaster.service".
- After it starts you should be able to access access the admin port (port 6920 by default) and check keymaster status. Once unsealed keymster will open it service port (should be 443) and be ready to start serving user requests.
