Hi Benzap, I love this, thanks for making it. I'd like to use it to tune into music subs, and user-created music, but I really think a sort by random...

First note of a measure doesn't playback if it starts the playback

This is sometimes happening, if the cursor starts on the note, it won't play, just the notes after it. Other times it does, I don't know what the difference is....

Mac version file history doesn't work unless the file was opened in that session

On mac monterey M1 I get an error "operation not permitted" message UNLESS that file was already opened manually during the time before tuxguitar closes again. Very minor gripe but...
